"Right Dorsum at It Once again" is the second track and the offset single from A Day to Recall's fifth album, Common Courtesy (2013). In October 20, 2015, the song was featured in Activision rhythm-music game, Guitar Hero: Alive.
Music and lyrics [edit]
Vocalist, Jeremy McKinnon wrote the lyrics, while the music was written by McKinnon, former guitarist Tom Denney, guitarist Neil Westfall and producer Andrew Wade.[two] "Right Back at It Again" almost wasn't included on the anthology as information technology was one of the backlog songs the band had recorded, "we realised that information technology sounded great, so on it went."[iii]
Release and reception [edit]
"Right Dorsum at Information technology Once more" was announced on October seven, 2013 to exist broadcast as part of BBC Radio one'south Rock Bear witness the following midnight, with the band calling the song their "brand new unmarried".[4] The vocal impacted radio on November eleven.[five] "Right Back at It Over again" charted at number 33 on the Alternative Songs chart,[6] and at number 40 on the Modern Rock chart in the U.S.[7] McKinnon, Westfall and guitarist Kevin Skaff performed a surprise acoustic show for Warped Tour 2013 Uk on November 17,[8] and another acoustic prepare, this time at Banquet Records the following solar day, both in London;[ix] band played "Right Back at It Again" on both occasions.[ten] [eleven]
Tamsyn Wilce for Alter the Press! noted that the mode "Correct Back at it Over again" follows on from opening track "Metropolis of Ocala" "continues the catchy hardcore beats" that is present in all of the ring's albums.[12] Rock Audio'southward Andy Ritchie called the song "unmistakably the 'All I Want' of 'Common Courtesy'".[13] A music video for the vocal was released on 19 December 2013. The music video was nominated for Best Video at the Kerrang! Awards.[fourteen]
